The “Hemp Planting Predictability Act” (HR 7024) has an 8% chance of passing as of this writing.
Ironic, as the “$24 billion U.S. hemp industry” is mostly vape pens and gummies containing bizarre synthetic forms of THC made from cheap foreign CBD.
Plus the current THC ban doesn’t impact real hemp farmers anyway, fiber/grain.
A better name would be the Foreign Hemp Planting Predictability Act.
