30 days in – no effect

So 30 days ago I started on my first run of CBD oil. I got Broad Spectrum CBD Oil Tincture (500mg total) from CBDistillery. Based on finishing the bottle in 30 days, I was taking around 17mg/day (very annoying that the dropper doesn't have indicators on it). I'm feeling no benefit from it after 30 days (if anything my wife says I might be more irritable). Now that the bottle is finished I'm deciding what to do. Does it normally take more than 30 days to feel the benefit? Was I taking too low of a dosage? I'm hesitant to try full spectrum due to possible drug testing, driving, etc. Should I just try a different distillery? My main reason for taking it is for anxiety/lack of focus.
