Can anyone help? I’m new to this

Ok I'll keep this short as possible. I'm not into this cannabis stuff so I know nothing. I've tried looking things up but it's pretty confusing actually. My mom who is older has chronic pain, and she heard that cannabis oil can help you quit smoking so she's interested in trying the oil. Can anyone give me advice (we're in canada) on what kind is the best even the cost and how much she should take would be helpful (she's very tiny, like 100lbs soaking wet lol).
